This retreat is more than a vacation, it’s a heart project.  It’s more than a travel experience, more than a city tour, more than yoga with a view, more than positive vibes.  We are offering an opportunity to experience your truest form of self, nourish your souls and re-energize in the beautiful country of Portugal.  

This adventure will encourage you to unpack all the false stories and narratives around fear, intimacy and limitations through surfing, market tours, cooking lessons, hikes, wellness coaching and yes, yoga.  Each experience has been curated to promote self-discovery, connection and cultural exploration.  Each day will ask you to show up as your most authentic self and challenge your stagnant definitions of whole- hearted living.

  

Our community of 10 like-minded travelers will be sharing a spacious, gorgeous mountain villa in Sintra.  The space provides plenty of room for group dinners, conversation, yoga and quiet contemplation. The town of Sintra is only a short walk of 800 meters away if during down time you would like to go to the pub, grab some snacks, wander around or maybe just get sometime for yourself.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All breakfasts and four dinners will be prepared by a personal chef of traditional Portuguese cuisine.   All lunches and one dinner will be eaten in town to complete the personal experience.   

Activities will include but are not limited to surfing, hiking, cooking, yoga and exploring Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais.   We will be sharing a more detailed itinerary, optional add ons and recommended packing list as the trip approaches.

Is this trip for you?

This is a physically active trip.  Public transport will be used at times and there will be lots of walking.

No experience is necessary for any activities.  Just a positive attitude!

Rooms will be shared.

All activities are included with price.   Price does not fluctuate if you choose to opt out of an activity.

Come willing to be part of a group.  This vacation is designed around group participation and positive attitudes. 

Shit happens when you travel.  Sometimes things go wrong. Sometimes you loose your luggage.  Sometimes the beds are not as comfy as you would like.  Sometimes your flight gets delayed.  We will do our best to help accommodate -but you must be able to roll with the punches.

About Jessica Martin

Jessica is licensed mental health counselor and certified life coach who embraces the concept of the collective wisdom to support growth and connection.  As multidimensional people we respond best to forms of healing that tap into our emotional, physical, and spiritual selves.  Jessica will lead us in daily group conversations that will inspire self exploration based on the themes and activities of the day.  Journals will be provided to all participants.

About Megan Eddy

Megan is a yoga instructor, world traveler, local bartender and new mom.  Her mission is to educate her students on the importance of body awareness.  Her classes focus on foundation, conscious movement, breath, body awareness and education.  During your stay Megan will focus on slow flow and restorative yoga.

Megan Eddy holds a (RYT-200) certification in Prana Flow under the teaching of Coral Brown and  a (RYT-200) certification in Wild Wisdom Vinyasa under the teaching of Jessie Dwiggins.  Megan also holds a Level One Restorative Yoga certification under the teaching of Sudha Caroline Lundeen.
