Who I Am.

What I Believe.

How I can help.

As a long time sufferer of anxiety and depression, I know it is not always easy to get out of bed in the morning and to find purpose.  I also know when I can get to my mat, I feel better. I don't pretend to know everything about yoga and I can't do the majority of what you see on Instagram.  I could teach you; but I don't want to because I don't care if you or I can handstand.

I do want to teach you how to breathe and feel.  I mean really breathe and feel your body in the process.  I can teach you how to connect back to yourself and your body through basic, foundational and restorative yoga.  I care about slowing down to get strong.

I believe the mat is our own laboratory.  A place that allows us to have an internal conversation to evaluate how WE are doing and reevaluate who we are, what our stories are and how they dictate our place in the world.  A place where we are forced to be honest with ourselves.

It is our duty to do this work because it allows us to become the best possible people we can be.  When we are our best selves we can help others more honestly and effectively. Because let's be honest.  It is not all about us.  We were put on this earth to help others, and I know I feel a lot better when I am doing so and not lying around on the couch in a dark hole.

Come move with me.
